NYU Tisch High School Summer Program

  • Location: NYC

  • Overview: Conservatory training in one of five institutions with professional actor and director-led classes. Culminates in a performance and open-class day.

  • Student Age: Rising Juniors and Seniors

  • Tuition: $2,000

Yale Summer Drama Program

  • Location: New Haven, CT

  • Overview: Two programs: The Conservatory for Actors and Directing, taught by Yale’s drama faculty. Includes Stanislavski method training and essential directorial practices.

  • Student Age: Current Juniors and Seniors

  • Tuition: TBD

"The Cherubs" at Northwestern University

  • Location: Evanston, IL

  • Overview: Two programs: Theater Arts and Design/Tech, with an optional Musical Theater program. Culminates in a public performance.

  • Student Age: Rising Seniors

  • Tuition: $5,600 (additional $2,000 for Musical Theater Extension)

University of Michigan Summer Performing Arts Institutes

  • Location: Ann Arbor, MI

  • Overview: Two programs: Theater & Drama Academy and Musical Theater Workshop, alongside other arts students.

  • Student Age: Rising Juniors and Seniors (varies by program)

  • Tuition: Musical Theater: $3,620 | Theater & Drama: $1,990

Carnegie Mellon School of Drama Pre-College

  • Location: Pittsburgh, PA

  • Overview: Intensive BFA curriculum with options in Acting, Musical Theater, and Design & Production Technology and Management. Concludes with a mock audition and interview.

Boston University Summer Theater Institute

  • Overview: Five-week intensive drama course for credit, with Performance and Design curriculums, master classes, and experimental theater labs.

Center for Creative Youth at Wesleyan University

  • Location: Middletown, CT

  • Overview: Immersive community for students across artistic disciplines. Participants choose one major but can take electives in other domains.
